My name is Mike Bartram, I am a retired civil servant, now woodworker. When I retired in 2019, I wanted a change from the rigors of Project Management, but still needed the challenge to produce and create something of value.

 

As an avid horror movie and novel fan, the allure to the dark side was always present and so it was time to release that into something tangible. Starting off building toe-pincher coffins, we realized that there was much more out there that needed my attention.  Compliments of a pillory plan by veteran woodworker Steve Ramsey , my journey now included other coffin related projects, medieval torture devices and other such pieces, each with its own set of challenges.

 

I invite you to follow me through this intriguing woodworking adventure of mine, as we strive to create or perhaps even reinvent unique pieces suitable for Halloween displays, photo ops and even some adult playtime.
